I have the ability to travel through time and space But not the way you’d think My peculiar ability to manipulate the cosmos Is not rooted in daft fairy tales of visiting new worlds Discovering new civilizations among the stars Although that is what I may dream about at day This bleak travel of which I speak is one of fear not wonder A spontaneous, abrupt kind of travel that even a vortex manipulator can’t recreate I travel back to past days, previous years, ancient nights What feels like lifetimes ago I’ll randomly teleport finding myself being replaced by a being Much younger, much more innocent, much less experienced I’ll effortlessly travel back to a time where grief and confusion replaced joy.
