Don’t you understand the gravity of what you’re doing You keep forcing these untrue beliefs into me Hoping, praying that they’ll pull me closer to you and the God you know Not even realizing that the harder you pull The stronger I will push and tug away from you. You have made me want to die time and time again And I have grown tired of all your questions Constantly probing, poking, provoking my identity As if it will make me question and not stand firm in who I believe to be. So go ahead if that is what you desire. Keep pulling, keep probing, and see what happens. I can promise you that regaining a daughter won’t be the result And I highly doubt you’ll gain a son either.
